Building on its expertise in these different technologies since its set up, Altis Semiconductor has grown continuously and fostered strong customer loyalty. Approximately 120 companies have thus far proven their trust in Altis
Altis Semiconductor, major advantages and innovation as a key
Altis Semiconductor benefits from a number of strengths to face the challenges of the industry:
- Forty years of expertise in semiconductors and, in particular, logic products, time-tested experience in mass production and benchmark industrial performances
- strategic geographic location on the European market
- proximity to Orsay university
These advantages all contribute to Altis Semiconductor's unquestionable success on the semiconductor market.
But in a highly competitive sector like electronic components, success requires
more than capitalizing on one's advantages. Altis Semiconductor has therefore
placed innovation at the heart of its strategy.
A Research and Development Center was opened on its production site in 2003. It mainly aimed to complete the pre-industrialization of MRAM, the new generation of "universal memory".
In order to better meet its customers' needs, Altis Semiconductor has also developed partnerships by setting up an industrial campus on its site to welcome international semiconductor companies such as Dupont Photomasks, Air Liquide and Boc Edwards. This campus, called Essonne Nanopole, brings together about fifteen companies and has become a benchmark in the semiconductor field.
With a capacity for continued investment and a highly motivated workforce of 2,200,
Altis can combine the strength of maturity with the vitality of youth.
Excellence, innovation and strategic partnerships are the keys to the success
of Altis Semiconductor, the European alternative.
