Altis Semiconductor ensures that its customers get
a global and high-performance technological offering, in terms of technique,
cost and quality.
Altis Semiconductor technological advantages:
0.13µ
and 0.18µ copper technologies
Up
until now, the connection of transistors to chips was achieved using mainly
aluminum. But due to the ever-increasing miniaturization of circuits, of the
order of a tenth of a micron, the industry is tending toward an "all-copper"
approach. Thanks to this material, wiring
can be made finer, and circuit density can be increased, leading to performance
enhancement.
Altis Semiconductor now masters the copper technology,
started in 2000 with the 0.18µ. In 2004, it represents 60% of its current
production, versus 35 % for the aluminum technology.
EDRAM
concept
The EDRAM or on-board memory concept are a requisite
to produce SoCs.
To be succesful with SoCs, it is necessary to control all the basic modules:
analog circuits, power, and embedded dynamic random access memory (EDRAM).Since
2000, Altis has produced SoC.
